Marrissa Washington-AlmeydaMarrissa Washington-Almeyda, is a business and operations consultant for small businesses and non-profit organizations. She spent her career working with non-profit organizations to clearly define and attain their programmatic and operational goals. With a strong foundation in the education system, Marrissa has worked with schools to influence young leaders. Using her project management, coaching, and analysis skills, she has helped organizations build pipelines of success and effectively train their staff.
Marrissa serves as the Assistant Director with Represented Foundation, seeking to lift up the organizations of Black and Brown social entrepreneurs. Marrissa works one-on-one with founders, recruits volunteers, and defines program outcomes, in a fast-paced start-up environment. Marrissa has a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia School of Social Work, with a focus on Social Enterprise Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, from the University of Chicago. Marrissa lives in the Bronx with her husband Sandy. |
