Dimple PatelDimple Patel serves as a Senior Program Officer for The New York Women’s Foundation (NYWF) which supports women and children in New York City through an intersectional racial and gender justice lens. Prior to joining NYWF, she worked in educational policy supporting tribal communities and Native American students across the country with the National Indian Education Association. In previous roles, Dimple served as a public health advocate and is a youth worker at heart. She is passionate about ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and representation in public health and educational advocacy efforts and more recently through yoga and overall mindfulness. Dimple graduated with her Bachelors in Public Health from Brandeis University (as a Posse Fellow) and her Masters in Education Policy from Brown University.
Sarvasya Yoga trains community healers from various immigrant communities in yoga fundamentals from a non-western lens. The goal is to have these leaders bring yoga, mindfulness, and mediation techniques back to their communities in a way that honors their culture and heritage.
