Alterrell’s published writing includes two business case studies spotlighting Black women leaders, “Eve Hall: The African American Investment Fund in Milwaukee” and “Amanda & Kristen: Mented Cosmetics.” The case studies (and their companion teaching guides) are part of the Harvard Business School curriculum.
At the core of Alterrell’s heart is a passion for teaching and empowering others whether as an alumni interviewer, mentor, or training facilitator. PRISM builds a path for others by developing mission-centered leaders.
PRISM includes three pillars: (i) accountability for graduate programs on the delivery of DEI, (ii) leadership development training, and (iii) research on best practices for institution. The core offering is the leadership development training that is meant to equip future business leaders with practical tools to manage inclusive teams.
